You can spot characters who are already ahead of the curve, those Silicon Valley/IT types. The familiar plot unfolds: the girl's parents, specifically her father, meet her boyfriend, leading to predictable misunderstandings and generational clashes—things quickly spiral out of control. The humor was uneven; at times it felt forced and more irritating than amusing, even though there were some genuinely funny moments. I didn’t find myself laughing much throughout the movie. Just so you know, this is a passable film. Some viewers will appreciate it, while others won't. The performances are decent enough to make it worth watching. It’s essentially a showdown between James Franco and Bryan Cranston, with Elon Musk appearing unexpectedly. There were several chances to improve things, like reworking the narration, but they remained committed to the original concept throughout.
