White Hunter, Black Heart, made in 1990, is something of an interesting movie. Clint Eastwood plays John Wilson, and he’s a fascinating character; the story itself proves easy to get into. Jeff Fahey delivers a strong performance as well, his role acting as a sort of moral guide throughout the film. The other actors in smaller roles, including Timothy Spall, are all dependable too. The movie is visually appealing, with some beautiful shots of where it was filmed, and moves along at a good speed. There’s also a particularly memorable final line. I didn't find myself completely falling for this film, and it isn't flawless in my view, but that doesn't stop me from saying I had an enjoyable time watching it.
