It’s hard to recall anything particularly memorable about this film. Perhaps I could muster some sympathy for the individual who inspired _White Boy Rick_, possibly? But that feeling didn't extend to the character portrayed onscreen. The movie failed to engage me in any significant way, and Matthew McConaughey certainly didn't help; he’s been popping up everywhere lately, which is something I really want to avoid. _Final rating:★★ - It wasn’t for my tastes, though I can see why others might find it worthwhile._
