It feels manufactured, a product designed to capitalize on a trend rather than genuine creativity. It’s reminiscent of those numerous films centered around Ouija boards and supernatural gateways—and frankly, this one is inferior, though it shares some superficial similarities with something like *It Follows*. However, unlike *It Follows*, this film lacks any real emotional depth. The characters are uninteresting, the filmmaking feels lifeless, and the fates of the individuals involved simply fail to engage (aside from a single instance of brutality), and the resolution or resolutions left me feeling disappointed. I honestly can’t imagine it being more obvious what was going to happen. Despite its visual appeal, I wouldn't suggest seeing this.
