The movie 'While You Were Sleeping' is ridiculously corny and excessively sweet, but surprisingly, I enjoyed it. Sandra Bullock’s performance is likely the biggest factor in my positive reaction; she seems almost ideally suited to this type of character. The supporting actors, including Bill Pullman, Peter Gallagher, and Jason Bernard, are also quite good. The narrative moves along at a comfortable speed; what really holds back the score is that pervasive cheesiness. Nevertheless, I’d give it a 7/10. This marks the sixth film by Jon Turteltaub that I've watched, and I would consider them all to be well-made. He’s a consistently dependable director!
