It lived up to the hype, definitely worth seeing. I’d encountered a lot of discussion about 'When Harry Met Sally…' but hadn't really grasped what it was about beyond knowing that Katz's Delicatessen featured in it – just the well-known line from Estelle Reiner, taken completely out of context. As with most romantic comedies, you have a general idea of what to expect, though this one does offer more than initially meets the eye; I especially liked the way time passed within the story. Billy Crystal is consistently entertaining, funny and occasionally quite moving. Meg Ryan is also very good, although for some reason her face doesn't stick in my memory. Carrie Fisher and Bruno Kirby provide solid supporting performances alongside the two main actors.
