It’s an acceptable film to view once, though I doubt I’ll revisit it, and I can’t really suggest it unless you are expecting or with someone who is. The movie presents several narratives that have minimal connection to each other but share some underlying ideas. I believe the filmmakers effectively utilized well-known actors to adapt all aspects of the book sharing the same title. It's obviously geared toward expectant mothers and parents, and it succeeds in that regard. However, I don’t feel it works quite as well when attempting to craft a compelling story for viewers outside of that specific group.
