The film "Wendell & Wild" presents a straightforward but lovely narrative centered on dealing with loss and recognizing the capacity of those who’ve experienced grief to shape what comes next. While it doesn't offer anything radically new in terms of storytelling, sticking fairly closely to standard approaches, the remarkable visual artistry—particularly as a fan of stop-motion animation—was enough to immediately engage me. Even though I felt that the core ideas and characters could have benefited from further development, I still believe seeing this movie is quite important, particularly for families looking for something to watch together.
