The movie "We Have a Ghost" starts with an appealing idea and features likeable performers, yet Christopher Landon’s direction results in a story that feels scattered, stretched out too long, and ultimately not very memorable. The repeated efforts to tackle numerous themes across different styles undermine the script, which initially drew interest because of how straightforward its setup was; instead, it evolves into an unnecessarily tangled situation lacking a clear sense of purpose. A regrettable choice is having David Harbour portray a ghost who doesn't speak, among several other puzzling artistic decisions in this Netflix production.
