This 30-minute short offers an unusual artistic encounter in current Brazilian film, combining noir elements, psychological suspense, and visual beauty with remarkable accuracy. A particularly noteworthy scene involves a reference to Veronica Lake, the well-known actress from the 1940s! It’s more than just a passing comment; it functions as a central idea for the whole project because Jones isn't simply narrating a story about two brothers—she is evoking the essence of classic movies and incorporating it into the core of a very contemporary narrative.
