Even though I’m too young to recall the actual event, "We Are Marshall" quickly felt like "We Are Dead." Despite finding some enjoyment in the movie, I never really connected with the town's atmosphere. The filmmakers seemed so intent on eliciting tears that I almost lost sight of the football aspect. It shares similarities with both "Remember the Titans" and "Friday Night Lights," making it suitable for a wide audience.
