I can definitely understand why it has such a strong reputation! Before seeing 'Watership Down', my only knowledge was that it was quite graphic and had an effect on kids when it first came out. And I get it now! Even looking at it through modern eyes, the way violence is depicted is still pretty intense. The animation is really impressive for its era – very well done! The music also stands out. I don’t think the characters are particularly memorable, though; after watching, I can't recall many of them individually, visually speaking. That said, the voice acting is quite good.
