_Waiting..._ is remarkable for a few key reasons. Initially, it played a significant role in boosting the profiles of both Ryan Reynolds (_Buried, Deadpool_) and Justin Long (_Accepted, Dodgeball, Jeepers Creepers_). It also pays tribute to what I consider to be the finest American comedy ever made, _Super Troopers_, along with Kevin Smith (director of _Clerks I & II, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Mallrats_). And lastly, it's an American comedy that I willingly purchased. Since then, I’ve watched it multiple times, and I expect to watch it again at some point. It might seem insignificant to anyone reading this—and there likely isn't anyone doing so—but it feels pretty substantial to me. The film manages to find humor in something as ordinary as a single day working a monotonous catering job, which is quite an accomplishment in itself. You ought to check it out and play "The Game" (a quick note: I’ve never won) like we did back in high school. That's just the kind of person I am. To be honest, and this surprises me even as I write it, I genuinely believe _Waiting..._ is an overlooked American comedy treasure. Perhaps my perception is skewed by nostalgia or a comparative viewpoint, but I really do appreciate the film. 76% -Gimly
