It seems like periodically someone feels compelled to revisit the narrative of Frankenstein. This particular version focuses largely on Victor Frankenstein’s internal struggles and his rescued companion, Igor—a relationship that allows Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy to demonstrate their acting abilities, which they accomplish remarkably well. Truly, all of the performances were impressive. The monsters' creation takes a back seat in this telling, but the characters’ need for attention still makes it quite engaging.
