This one centers on a police officer facing off against a wealthy individual. It’s not entirely a straightforward action-crime story; there's an element of fun to it, well-crafted by the filmmaker behind 'The Berlin File.' While it was a big success domestically, I felt the film ran a bit too long and had some slow or dull sections. Overall, it proved entertaining and met my expectations reasonably well. Before diving into the main plot, the early scenes quickly establish some crime-solving events. We’re introduced to an honest but uncompromising police officer known for his tough stance on criminals. This leads him to take on what becomes one of his most significant cases yet. It all starts when a truck driver is seriously injured after protesting his termination without pay, bringing a young, wealthy businessman into the picture and setting up a direct conflict between him and the police. The question then becomes: will the corporation prevail with its financial resources and political influence, or can the under-equipped police force succeed? The beginning was genuinely funny; I initially expected a comedy riot, but the middle section failed to maintain that same energy. There wasn't much happening, nothing particularly engaging. That’s when viewers should be aware that this isn’t purely a comedic film. However, the story did manage to stay on track, especially during the confrontations between the police and the corporation, even if at a slower pace. As the final act began, I realized that earlier developments were important in setting the stage for a strong conclusion. > "I told you to stay out of trouble." It's a refreshing departure from typical cop films. I wasn’t expecting characters as amusing as these, especially among the police force. The entire team, including the chief, was quite funny. There are numerous small jokes that lift your spirits. However, as with before, once the story moves past the midpoint and the business tycoon is introduced, the lighter moments start to diminish, signaling a shift in tone. The film then progresses to a more intense confrontation, but a twist adds even greater interest to the ending. While no major secrets are revealed, it's an excellent and clever turn of events. The struggle between the police force and their opponent is portrayed brilliantly. In reality, such situations probably don’t unfold that way, but for a movie, it was both enjoyable and thrilling, with some impressive action sequences. The actors also delivered solid performances. I think it would be a good film to remake, though there are areas where it could be improved, like the overall pacing. It took me about half an hour at the start to fully adjust to the characters and their circumstances; that requires attention from the viewer. On the other hand, the length of the film is a concern. I did enjoy watching it, so there’s no doubt it was a good movie, but it could have been even better. I would say it missed an opportunity to become one of the better cop films. Not because of the comedic elements, but because separating and isolating those moments from the more serious events creates inconsistency in maintaining momentum, particularly when facing the antagonists. You'll understand what I mean if you watch the film’s ending. These kinds of flaws are minor—they stem from issues with the screenplay where scenes didn't flow as smoothly as they could have. That’s my impression at least, and while I’m not an expert, I do have experience watching films like this. So I won't criticize the film overall; I can certainly recommend it to those who enjoy cop stories.
