It's an enjoyable film, though ultimately flawed due to some rushed and unclear elements. The core concept—a symbiotic relationship dominating planets, reminiscent of Super Saiyan or Borg narratives—shows promise. However, the execution falters; the connection between Eddy and Venom develops too quickly. While the antagonists possess compelling reasons for their actions and are visually appealing (Riot is more impressive than Venom), their development feels superficial. The romantic scene with She-Venom seems out of place and jarring, even falling short of the intensity seen in "50 Shades." Similarly, Venom’s transformation is handled abruptly and without sufficient explanation. Surprisingly, the Venom from Spider-Man 3 was superior, at least it presented motivations that seemed logical. The notion that Venom switched allegiances due to past mistreatment felt believable, but his rapid shift to complete devotion for Eddy, within just three days, stretches credibility too far, leading him to risk everything.
