The latest installment, Venom: The Last Dance, delves further into the complicated dynamic between Eddie Brock and Venom, bringing more complexity, suspense, and comedic moments to the forefront. A formidable new threat emerges as the Xenophages. However, the film's conclusion felt abrupt and somewhat silly; it seemed like the writers and director struggled to deliver a satisfying resolution, which I thought was disappointing. It felt like something you’d see in a Bollywood movie, but just okay. Surprisingly, Venom himself wasn't featured prominently enough for a film concluding a beloved series of three. Furthermore, what I perceived as the “MAIN BIG BAD GUY of DARKNESS ANNIHILATION EVERYTHING” didn’t really do much; that character and the Codex idea seemed underdeveloped, though thankfully there won’t be any more black symbiotes.
