Kathleen Turner deserves recognition for putting in effort; she almost manages to make the movie watchable solely through her presence. The humor, though, doesn’t work well at all. The script is poorly written, and the filmmaking style feels like a low-budget television show shot with one camera. Ultimately, it's just Turner doing everything she can to rescue what is otherwise a flawed production—she performed admirably, but that isn't enough to recommend seeing it.
