It's proving tricky to write about _Us_, and even with spoilers, I suspect I’d still have trouble. What I can say is that my reactions shifted as the film unfolded. There was one particular scene that completely captivated me; for a short while, I honestly believed nothing released this year could possibly surpass it. But then the moment passed, the movie concluded, and all that remained was a feeling of "...It's good." It’s certainly worth seeing more than once and discussing—there’s a considerable amount to consider within _Us_—though perhaps not deserving of the absolute highest acclaim. _Final rating:★★★ - I liked it.
