It’s a delightful and engaging experience. *Up* is skilled at evoking emotion. It develops a poignant narrative centered on Carl Fredricksen (voiced by Ed Asner), with the initial moments being especially well-crafted. I wasn't as fond of the segments featuring Dug (Bob Peterson) and Kevin (Pete Docter); they aren’t poorly done, but I found the interactions involving Fredricksen, Russell (Jordan Nagai), and Charles F. Muntz (Christopher Plummer) to be enjoyable and often humorous. Asner and Nagai both deliver excellent performances in what is considered one of Disney's stronger films. The music by Michael Giacchino is also quite beautiful. You should definitely see it!
