Seeing this film again really highlighted how much it echoes "Rambo: First Blood." The story centers on the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder, and it definitely comes across as a very typical action movie from the 1990s. It moves along at a rapid speed, filled with lines that don’t quite work and a plot that's pretty silly. The actors are well-chosen, and the direction is precisely what’s needed to establish it as an action film for the ages.
