It's surprisingly decent; I can think of other ways they might have employed this style of presentation, but you still need to acknowledge _Unfriended’s_ commitment, particularly considering it came out in 2014. However, that dedication isn't without its problems—the attempt at realism unfortunately results in low-grade webcam visuals and sound, plus the kind of delays anyone familiar with computers would expect. A significant portion of my time watching _Unfriended_ was spent simply waiting for a screen to load, a file to finish downloading, or an instant message reply. Sure, those are things that happen when you’re using a computer, but it's not really what you pay to experience at the cinema. _Final rating:★★½ - There were aspects I liked, but ultimately it didn’t fully succeed._
