The film *Unfriended: Dark Web* provides an unsettling cyber-thriller by using a distinctive point of view—the screen of a laptop—drawing audiences into a story about technology falling into the wrong hands and resulting in frightening events. While certain choices made by the characters don’t entirely make sense, the movie recovers with steadily increasing suspense, believable acting, and a clever plot development that resolves unresolved issues. It's a sobering look at digital security, online risks, and the potential threats hidden within the internet's less visible areas.
