This film fails to create suspense. While its approach is subtle, that subtlety ultimately prevents it from captivating the viewer. Because the characters lack appeal, there's little reason to become invested in their fates, which undermines any potential for genuine terror. Without meaningful stakes, true horror simply cannot emerge. The performers deliver solid performances under competent direction, but the pacing drags considerably, and even the resolution feels tangled and confusing. I can’t suggest seeing it.
