The film *Under Suspicion* doesn’t quite manage to stick the landing because of issues with the script, but the initial idea is certainly intriguing. I found myself losing enthusiasm as it went on, even though it remains a fairly solid neo-noir crime thriller. Liam Neeson delivers a perfectly acceptable performance in the main part, and Kenneth Cranham provides good support. Laura San Giacomo was also enjoyable to watch, and Maggie O'Neill appears too (I wonder if others notice she resembles Lorraine Bracco?). It had the potential to be much better, but it’s still worth seeing.
