This film doesn’t appear to be aimed at viewers my age; it seems geared toward a younger audience. To me, it feels like another example of fairly superficial attempts to address contemporary social issues. I didn’t stick around for long, but I found it notable that the movie promotes "diversity" in a way that ultimately comes across as "conformity." It presents a choice between two groups: “tribe” A (the seemingly perfect, technologically advanced people) or B (those presented as rebels and farmers), both of which emphasize collectivism over individual expression. No matter how you look at it, individuality seems to be lacking. The action sequences are acceptable, the acting is fine, and the special effects seem adequate. I imagine some younger viewers might enjoy it, but they may not recognize what’s absent from the discussion. Overall, there's nothing particularly uplifting about this film. The only positive aspect I can identify is a rather basic rejection of physical stereotypes. What’s truly important is the right to genuine individuality, which goes beyond surface-level appearances and includes essential things like freedom of speech and expression. It’s disheartening how these fundamental freedoms are sacrificed in the name of conformity.
