It’s an enjoyable film that I would happily view again, and I feel comfortable suggesting it, especially if you're looking for something suitable for a date. The movie has aged remarkably well; however, its dated aspects are noticeable—primarily the mentioned dollar figures, as well as the presence of car phones and payphones. The performances by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito deserve considerable praise, as they’re what make this film still entertaining despite the passage of time. The initial concept might seem almost absurd when considering it in 1988, but developments since then have been so significant that it's now conceivable for this story to transition from science fiction into realistic fiction.
