I recently viewed this film, quite some time after its initial release, spurred by an intriguing concept and glimpses I’d seen online. Unfortunately, my anticipation didn't pan out; it ranks among the least enjoyable movies I’ve encountered. The core idea—a serial killer residing in a remote location with a bizarre fixation on transforming people into walruses—is genuinely captivating. However, the film doesn't reach the notoriety of "human centipede" because of its flawed presentation. It relies on low-budget and unsuccessful attempts at humor to cover up the subpar performances, features an irritating musical score that distracts rather than enhances the experience, and presents adequate but unremarkable cinematography that fails to elevate the frequently dull and occasionally nonsensical dialogue. The final moments were particularly disappointing; after seeming to build toward a potentially satisfying conclusion during the last ten minutes, they devolved into the most unbelievable and ridiculous chain of events throughout the entire film. I strongly suggest using those couple of hours for something more worthwhile.
