Absolutely wonderful!!!!!! It’s a skillfully made film featuring an exceptionally clear and reasonable plot for movies in its category. I anticipated a less-than-great experience when I started it, figuring I'd get a few chuckles and then it would be over. But this exceeded all expectations; it begins deliberately, providing background and insight into the main characters’ lives before they connect, exploring themes of what family can truly represent, the compromises people make for their families, and why some individuals struggle to find their place within those dynamics. It's striking because these kinds of problems exist in our own lives, they continue to be a factor, many would simply smile and proceed, only to later erupt with complaints that it wasn’t what they thought it would be. This takes things further by illustrating the potential consequences when someone decides, "I don't belong here; I need to leave." We see the fallout from that choice, the subsequent revelations of truth, the ultimate resolution, and even a glimpse into a future shaped by that decision. The film gave me goosebumps, touched my heart, made me laugh, brought tears to my eyes, and left me feeling genuinely pleased with how it concluded. Everything was perfect – the production quality, the visuals, the performances, the sound design, the narrative flow; it all came together beautifully. It avoids the typical family conflict we often see in these kinds of films, which is a positive thing without question. I will say that one particular scene where characters were kneeling felt overly dramatic for me, too exaggerated and unnecessary, but I understand why they included it; they could have handled it in at least five other ways, yet ultimately it worked out well. If there was a rating scale of 10 to recommend this, I’d give it an enthusiastic 11. Please enjoy it! Cheers.
