I’m surprised this hasn’t received more praise. While it isn't flawless—there's a slight trace of progressive messaging—it’s generally a stronger than average movie. The strength of the film lies in its well-developed characters; you become invested and feel empathy for the central figure, alongside a good sense of rhythm. Events unfold that are captivating, skillfully connected, and create anticipation about the resolution. Basically, it's a solid, small-scale crime thriller, crafted with care and holding your attention. Considering the constraints of the production, achieving this is quite an accomplishment. It’s certainly worth watching.
