Wolfgang Petersen’s 2004 film *Troy* presents an expansive version of the Trojan War story drawn from Homer's *Iliad*. The movie explores weighty subjects like the struggle between wanting power and feeling jealous, conflicts arising from greed versus pride, and the contrast between smart thinking and unquestioning belief.
