I loved the first Tron when I was younger, so naturally I was excited about seeing the sequel finally get made. Sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations at all. The visuals are stunning, but beyond that there isn’t much to recommend it, unless you enjoy unlikeable characters. While the original film might seem dated now, it remains a stronger piece of filmmaking. Still, I find myself unable to stop rewatching this new one, which is strange.
