While *Trolls Band Together* is an improvement over *Trolls World Tour*, it’s still not particularly memorable to me. Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake are enjoyable as the main characters, and the plot manages to be a little more engaging this time around. I do have to mention that, considering these films aren't trying to be anything groundbreaking in terms of family entertainment, the way they depict their worlds is pretty weak. It seems like the three movies take place in completely different universes; each one has its own distinct look and feel. The joke about the pink eye did get a laugh out of me, largely thanks to Kenan Thompson’s performance as Tiny Diamond, so it at least delivered something positive. Otherwise, these sequels haven't really clicked with me—just not my thing, you know.
