This movie, *’Trivia at St. Nick’s’*, isn’t enjoyable. I generally go into these made-for-TV holiday movies not expecting brilliance. Nevertheless, there's a certain standard that should be met, and I don’t think this one manages to achieve anything worthwhile. It does get a little recognition from me for having an identifiable idea, which is different from the typical formula of just romance with barely any other story. But that’s about all the nice things I can say. The performances are likely its biggest failing; neither of the main actors are particularly engaging and the rest of the cast doesn't make much of an impression either. A spark is needed between the two leads, but unfortunately, there was nothing like that present.
