The film _Triple Frontier_ appears to be aiming for commentary on the US's actions abroad and its treatment of veterans, but this feels secondary to a fairly standard plot about thieves. It doesn’t elicit strong reactions either way; it simply gets muddled trying to balance action sequences with a deeper meaning.
