The experience of watching *'Trigger Point'* is almost unbearable, resulting in a disappointing 90 minutes overall. It attempts to blend elements of films like *'John Wick'* and, to a lesser extent, *'The Equalizer'*, but falls short of the quality achieved by either one. Barry Pepper delivers a decent performance as the lead; I could potentially appreciate seeing him in a similar role—provided the movie itself had more substance, which it regrettably lacks. There appears to be potential for a series of three films. While I’d be untruthful if I claimed no interest in future installments, my curiosity is driven by morbid fascination rather than genuine enthusiasm.
