It’s baffling how movies this bad still manage to be produced, especially within horror. Describing Treehouse as a horror film feels generous, really. Trying to figure out the filmmakers' intentions is tough because the movie doesn’t go anywhere meaningful and quickly becomes unfocused, making very little coherent sense. It begins with some potential, featuring an appealing musical score and attractive location shots. However, it then layers on excessive explanation, incorporates weak performances, all leading up to a ridiculous ending that isn't remotely worth the time – and once more, the final reveal doesn’t logically connect with what transpired previously. A disappointing experience best skipped unless you’re looking for frustration? 1/10
