This film is utterly devoid of charm. It seems like it was thrown together in a rush, likely taking less than a quarter-hour to write. One has to wonder how difficult it could possibly be to craft an enjoyable story centered on transforming robots from another world—apparently, extremely challenging, at least when you are Michael Bay. And the humor… truly painful. I physically recoiled with each joke. There were so many failed attempts at comedy, resulting in awkwardness and a sense of embarrassment. Those responsible for creating this movie ought to be banished.
