I wasn’t aware of the film’s plot beforehand; I thought Rebel Wilson was in it based on the poster. It turned out she wasn’t involved, which left me feeling a bit misled or like I hadn't been careful enough when selecting what to watch. I honestly couldn’t place the actress—I’d never seen her before. The movie wasn't particularly romantic or humorous; it was just plain dull. At one point, I even wondered if she might be Will Ferrell’s sister. I felt let down because it seemed like neither the film itself nor the performers were invested in keeping my attention. It follows a familiar storyline—a woman loses someone who genuinely cares for her and then eventually discovers her true love, but their happiness is threatened by her history. The resolution focuses on how things will be resolved. While the plot may seem recognizable, it should have been elevated by a skilled comedy director with a track record of successful films. However, this feels like one of his weaker projects. Not all the performances were bad; John Cena was amusing with some jokes about being gay, though he seemed to have a brief role. There's also a basketball player I didn’t recognize. It’s probably above average, but it would be better if it had a strong lead actress. Some viewers might find it funny, but it didn’t work for me—I really wanted to enjoy it, but couldn’t. 5/10
