A friend who works in real estate allows a couple to spend a weekend at a beautiful house located in the hills of El Dorado County, California. However, a small disagreement at a gas station escalates into a full-blown siege. I hoped to enjoy this movie, but it doesn't offer anything fresh, and what it does have isn’t very impressive. The filmmakers devoted too much time trying to manipulate our feelings by pushing the characters’ personal lives on us with displays of affection and trivial moments that felt superfluous, which meant there wasn’t enough space for some exciting suspense.
