It seemed like the initial portion of the narrative might have been sufficient on its own, instead of including the somewhat jarring arrival of a group of rural characters roughly halfway through the second act. Perhaps my willingness to enjoy _Tonight She Comes_ was simply due to how truly terrible the movies I watched beforehand were, leading me to be excessively thankful for anything better, but regardless of why, I still felt that when it concluded, it was… alright. Final rating:★★½ - It possessed many elements that resonated with me, but ultimately didn’t quite succeed as a complete package.
