“Not dead yet, no sh*t!” I decided to watch this film because I’ve been a fan of the game series for quite some time. I enjoyed the earlier films starring Angelina Jolie; they were just right for a teenage boy with their humor, action, and a gorgeous lead actress. Alicia Vikander gives a good performance alongside a more grounded storyline. The action scenes are well-done, ending with a promising setup for another film. The only real problem I had was Daniel Wu’s character; his role as a sidekick felt unnecessary since he wasn't really part of the main story. It's your typical adventure movie, but it stands out because of the strong and striking lead actress.
