Seriously? Why did they even make this? It's hard to understand who believed this would work well. Those familiar with "Jerry," his rival "Tom," and "Spike" – characters known for their fast-moving, funny, short bursts of physical comedy – will recognize that their appeal lies in those brief, energetic moments. This film, however, feels slow and dull, seemingly just an opportunity to showcase Chloë Grace Moretz ("Kayla")’s pleasant smile while she pretends to be someone else to get a job at a hotel. The plot involves a celebrity wedding with an Indian cultural focus, where she's responsible for ensuring the ceremony of "Ben" (Colin Jost) and "Preeta" (Pallavi Sharda) – or is it Chopra-Jonas? – goes without a hitch, complete with animated elephants. “Tom” and “Jerry” are forced to temporarily set aside their usual fighting to cooperate and assist her after predictable destruction occurs. The film manages to be acceptable when the focus remains on those two cartoon figures; otherwise, it’s an awful representation of animation's past that should be hidden away in a very deep location. It's truly appalling!
