This is your standard Jack Ryan spy story where he has to arrange a rendezvous with an operative, and as mentioned in the movie itself, "It's never just about meeting someone." It’s a straightforward action film filled with familiar elements and predictable plot points, but it maintains a brisk tempo. The characters were well-developed, the conversations were sharp and occasionally amusing, and while the action sequences aren't particularly impressive when measured against contemporary films, they remain engaging and exhilarating. There was a sense that things felt hurried, as if the production had been cut off prematurely, yet I still enjoyed watching it.
