It's disheartening that Wim Wenders couldn’t locate the Japan associated with Ozu within today's Tokyo. This feels significant because it's increasingly uncommon to encounter the kind of Tokyo depicted in films from earlier periods. It has sparked a desire in me to get a 50mm lens for my upcoming travels.
