This film, *Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made*, doesn’t leave a strong impression. The way the story unfolds feels disappointing, and the humor, which relies on being very understated, wears thin pretty fast. I held out hope that something worthwhile would emerge later on... but it never does. Winslow Fegley, who previously appeared in *Pete's Dragon* with his brother, is passable as the main character, though Craig Robinson is the only performer I’ll recall; I genuinely enjoyed his portrayal of Mr. Jenkins. Ophelia Lovibond and Wallace Shawn are acceptable, I suppose. Honestly, I don’t have any real complaints about the acting. It's practically everything else that leads me to give this a low rating. There are some elements I did appreciate, such as the CGI polar bear that appears throughout the movie, though it doesn’t actually do anything significant. I understand what they were trying to achieve, but they fall short of the mark. Certain lines of dialogue were well-written, at least occasionally. It's inoffensive and clearly some viewers will get something out of it. For me, however, it isn't particularly memorable among Disney’s offerings.
