A woman escaping an abusive ex-husband with her two young children finds assistance from a man connected to an underground network aiding people in similar situations. The mother (Alexandra Breckenridge) is making her way across the country during January, relocating from one state to another, and receives help from this intriguing individual (Ray Liotta). "Ticket Out," released in 2012, offers an enjoyable cross-country pursuit with impressive scenery and a convincing winter atmosphere, plus some surprising action sequences that are quite satisfying. Alexandra is likable as the central character, and Burke portrays a believable antagonist while Ray’s role possesses charm alongside an air of mystery.
