I recently saw Thunderbolts, and my reaction was unexpected. I had very little hope going in—figured it would simply be another forgettable addition to the Marvel lineup—but it turned out to surpass those initial thoughts considerably. The actors interacting with each other felt genuine, the fight scenes were well-executed, and there were several heartfelt instances that took me by surprise, pleasantly so. It’s certainly unlike a standard superhero group adventure; it seemed more realistic and intense than usual. It's not flawless, but I was delighted by it. If you are unsure about seeing it, I suggest giving it a try. It proved to be much better than I anticipated.
