It's simply the quintessential 1960s Bond experience! Among Sean Connery’s portrayals of the character, Thunderball holds the top spot for me. How could it not? Having solidified the core elements of a Bond film, this installment elevates them significantly. Featuring Sean Connery reprising his role as the sophisticated spy, Claudine Auger embodies the alluring Fiona and Domino, a villain sporting an eye patch, intense underwater confrontations, personal flying devices, shark-themed traps, gorgeous Bahamian scenery, and a Tom Jones theme song, Connery’s fourth film as Bond delivers a wonderfully over-the-top and unrestrained adventure.
