The film’s initial release date was early 2020, but because of the pandemic, it wasn't released for another year, and I suspect that delayed arrival contributed to a noticeable lack of care in how its distribution was handled. While billed as a comedy, the producers tried to incorporate a sentimental narrative element that simply didn’t work out. One of my biggest questions about this film concerns who it was intended for; many of the gags seemed geared toward older viewers, yet the movie's physical humor felt awkward and poorly executed. It seemed like both lead performers only put in minimal effort. Ultimately, the movie failed to establish a distinct character, lacked any real entertainment value, and suffered from a weak plot.
